Every year, its organizers invite people to watch the works of polish, czech, slovak and even hungarian cinematographers. The festival is not only about film screenings. It also includes meetings with directors and actors, numerous lectures, exhibitions, concerts, outdoor screenings. A real treat for cinema lovers!

In the world of theatre
There is also something in store for theatre fans in cieszyn – the “Without borders” international theatre festival. In the programme you will find interesting plays written not only by polish and czech artists, but also by slovaks and hungarians. Inspirational and thought-provoking performances – all this you will find during the event! If you would like your child to discover the true value of theatre as well – take them to a selected performance prepared with children in mind.

In the world of music
If you want to get a better sense of history and listen to good music at the same time, come to the three brothers festival which is held in june. There are many attractions waiting for you on both sides of the olza river. During the event you will have the opportunity to discover the history of our city, walk in a colourful procession, and listen to your favourite artists performing live! Famous singers and bands will perform for you on the polish and czech side.
Are you a fan of operas, operettas and musicals? Then you can’t miss the “Viva il canto” international song festival. The programme of the festival includes something for the young and old, fans of vocal and instrumental music as well as enthusiasts of jazz and popular music. Music connects generations!
